The baby book idea is pretty cool. I see all these online baby books, but they still require me to track all the info, and lets face it, if you have more than one child, it's just too much. My first daughter has a meticulous baby book - pictures, medical records, adorable little stories. My second has a few photos and her birth height/weight, my third has a baby book, but I have yet to even write her name in it.

For use beyond the keepsake, its also super valuable. If there were a way to get all the critical info stored regularly, in something that I could access, it would be so much easier. When I enter my kids in daycare or kindergarten, I need a copy of their records, including their original birth certificate. When I sign them up for sports, same thing. I would estimate I need access to that information beyond just medical use, on average, a dozen time a year - that's a lot of paper to keep track of and seems so unnecessary. The info exists and I can't access it and really it's not my pediatricians info, it's my childs...I should be able to access it, when I need it.
